Koushani to sing for ‘Priya Re’

Tollywood actress Koushani Mukherjee is all set to reveal her singing talent for the upcoming Dhallywood film ‘Priya Re’ starring her alongside Shanto Khan.

Koushani will lend her voice for a track ‘Tumi Emni Kore Thako’ from the film under the banner of Shapla Media International.

Meanwhile, another version of the song ‘Tumi Emni Kore Thako’ was recorded in the voice of singer Abanti Sithi. Belal Khan has done its composition and music arrangement. Actress Koushani is expected to lend her voice for another version of the song on January 8, at a studio in Dhaka.

“I got offers for singing on many occasions before. But I did not dare to do it. The lyrics and composition of this song have come out so much wonderful that I could not resist me,” she said.

Koushani shot for the first schedule of the film in Chandpur in September and went back home. Afterwards, she returned to Bangladesh in November for the second schedule shooting which ended on December 3.

Along with Shanto Khan and Koushani, ‘Priya Re’ also features Rajatava Dutta and Kharaj Mukherjee from Tollywood. The film is directed by Pujon Mozumdar.

Koushani is expected to star in two more upcoming films of Shapla Media International, titled ‘Artanad’ and ‘Mithai’ which will be directed by Zakir Hossain Raju and Shamim Ahmed Roni.

The actress earlier collaborated with the same production house for the films ‘Laag Bhelki Laag’ and ‘Chhuti’.
