Trailer for Siam, Puja’s ‘Shaan’ unveiled at TSC

The official trailer for the M Raahim directed upcoming film ‘Shaan’, featuring actors Siam Ahmed and Puja Cherry, was released on Friday.

The trailer was released at an event held at the TSC of Dhaka University on Friday, in presence of the ‘Shaan’ team, as part of their promotional campaign for the much-anticipated action-thriller.

The trailer was released on the YouTube channel of Jazz Multimedia, the distributor of the film, on the same day.

Based on true events, the plot of ‘Shaan’ revolves around human trafficking. Along with Siam and Puja, the film features Champa, Aruna Biswas, Taskeen Rahman, Syed Hasan Imam, and Misha Sawdagar.

Azad Khan, the producer of the film, has written the story of ‘Shaan’, while the screenplay and dialogues were jointly written by Nazim Ud Daula and Azad. ‘Shaan’ marks the third collaboration of Siam Ahmed and Puja on-screen after ‘Poramon 2’ and ‘Dohon’.

“The film portrays the story of police officer Shaan, who believes in intelligence rather than muscle power. Shaan is the story of a man who protects the people of his country without expecting anything in return. This is the story of all the unsung heroes of our country,” actor Siam, who will be playing the titular role in ‘Shaan’, told The Business Post.

‘Shaan’ will be released in theatres on January 7.
