Bulbul, Shujeo, Gazi Mazharul to judge ‘Young Star’ spl episodes

Ongoing musical reality show Danish Presents ‘Young Star’, hosted by private television channel RTV, is arranging special episodes with patriotic songs to pay tribute to the 1971 Liberation War martyrs, on the occasion of Martyred Intellectuals Day and Victory Day.

The special episode of the show will be judged by Bulbul Mahalanobis, a singer of Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra, Shujeo Shyam, a composer and music director of Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra, and Gazi Mazharul Anwar, a lyricist.

RTV will broadcast the special episode at 8:00pm today marking Martyred Intellectuals Day, with Bulbul Mahalanobis as the guest judge.

Shujeo Shyam will act as the guest judge of the show on the Victory Day special episode which will be aired at 8:00pm on Wednesday. Gazi Mazharul Anwar will be seen as the guest judge in the last episode of the patriotic songs on December 21.

The guest judges in each episode will be accompanied by the three main judges of the event, Ibrar Tipu, Protic Hasan and Sabrina Porshi.

Bulbul Mahalanobis said, “The biggest achievement of my life is that I was able to join Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra as an artiste and I came back victorious. I am happy to take part in such an event in the month of victory.”

Shujeo Shyam said, “Young Star RTV is a great event. I am overwhelmed to hear the national anthems sung by the young people who come here. Listening to their songs, I have reminisced my youth again. “

“Listening to patriotic songs always trigger different emotions. I thank RTV for organising a special episode with patriotic songs in this event. It is great to hear patriotic songs in the voices of young people,” said lyricist Gazi Mazharul Anwar.

Danish Presents ‘Young Star’ is produced by Sohag Masud can be watched on RTV and its YouTube channel and the Facebook pages of RTV Plus and RTV reality show, said RTV chief Dewan Shamsur Rakib.

The musical reality show is anchored by model-actor-presenter Imtu Ratish and dancer-presenter Rouhani Salsabil Labonno.

The TV broadcast of ‘Young Star’ began on November 23 from the studio audition round with the slogan ‘Gola chere Gao’.
