‘Mridha vs Mridha’ cleared for release

Director Rony Bhowmik’s upcoming film ‘Mridha Bonam Mridha’ (Mridha vs Mridha) starring Siam Ahmed and Nova Feroz in the lead roles, has been cleared by Bangladesh Film Censor Board.

Makers of the film received the clearance certificate for the film on December 12.

Actor Siam took to his verified Facebook page to share a photo of the clearance certificate on Monday night. “The festival has already started. Best of luck team ‘Mridha Bonam Mridha’,” he captioned it.

‘Mridha vs Mridha’ was mostly shot between February and August this year. Its post-production works were conducted in Bangladesh, India and the US. Rayhan Khan has written the dialogue and script of the film.

Along with Siam and Nova, the film has Tariq Anam Khan, Nima Rahman, Sanjida Preeti and Towfiqul Islam Emon in various roles.

However, release date of the film is yet to be announced.

On the work front, actor Siam is gearing up to release the much-anticipated action thriller ‘Shaan’, directed by M Raahim and co-starring Puja Cherry, for which the official trailer was released at an event at the TSC of Dhaka University recently.

The trailer has been making waves among the audience since its release at the crowded event. The film ‘Shaan’ is scheduled to be released in theatres on January 7.
