Jaaz introduces Ariana in horror thriller ‘Mona’

Jaaz Multimedia has introduced a new face, Ariana Jaman, to the Dhallywood film industry through their horror film titled ‘Mona’ directed by Kamruzzaman Roman. The shooting of the film started on December 20.

Jaaz Multimedia has shared the news through their official Facebook page with a post sharing the picture of Ariana Jaman.

“Should we always prefer Bollywood’s Kareena, Deepika or Shilpa Sethi for ‘Zero Figure’ or ‘Beautiful Figure’? Will no one come to Dhallywood? Jazz does not believe our seniors’ claim that Bangladeshi audience does not like ‘Zero Figure’ actress,” read the caption.

“We don’t know about the audience of the past but now the audience is much more updated than before. With that in mind, Jaaz Multimedia has tried to bring beautiful and slim figure heroines to the big screen from the very beginning. Actresses who regularly work with Jaaz have to take part in a regular gym, fight and acting training,” the caption added.

“Maybe, we haven’t been able to present the audience with tall and zero figure heroines. However, this is the first time that Jaaz will bring a ‘zero figure’ heroine before the audience. Let us introduce Ariana to you who dances very well and will make her debut with ‘Mona’. ”

The producing firm also wished a good career in the film industry for Ariana saying, “Last but not least, if Ariana maintains herself regularly, she will make a good position in the film industry, ” said Jaaz Multimedia.

On the same Facebook post, Jaaz Multimedia earned sharp criticism for introducing an actress in this manner.

Some people commented that only a good figure does not make a good actress.

Some wrote introducing someone this way is just body shaming and some suggested Jaaz Multimedia to focus on bringing girls who can act well.

‘Mona’ is inspired by the true event that happened in Jamalpur. It is a revenge story of a genie. The character ‘Mona’ will be played by child artist Shuprobhat Islam.

In another Facebook post, Jaaz Multimedia also confirmed that other important roles in the film will be played by popular actors Dipa Khandakar, Ahmed Rubel and Tariq Anam Khan.

The story, dialogue and screenplay of the film are written by the owner of the Jaaz Multimedia, Abdul Aziz.

Jaaz Multimedia has introduced well-known actors Bappy Chowdhury, Mahiya Mahi, Nusraat Faria and Puja Cherry to the Dhallywood in the past.
