TV specials on Christmas Day

Television channels are airing a wide variety of programmes to entertain the audience on the occasion of Christmas which is being celebrated today.

Boishakhi TV will air a special programme titled ‘Shuvo Borodin’ at 12:30pm today.

Reverend Daniel Dipon Sarkar will highlight the importance of Christmas in the programme hosted by Dorin Baroi and produced by Nicolus Hira.

A group of dancers from Nrityangan Lalitkala Academy will perform under the direction of John Tony Sarkar with the music performed by Bethel AG Choir Team.

Special music show titled ‘Boishakhi Shokaler Gaan’ will be performed by Barnali Biswas Shanta. The show, produced by Litu Solaiman, will air at 8:20am.

Another special music show ‘Golden Song’ will be aired at 8:00pm where CloseUp 1 star Sania Sultana Liza will perform. The television channel will air a special episode of ‘Shudhu Cinema R Gaan’ at 1:00pm. The show is produced by Shah Alam.

A special drama titled ‘Shamikaran’ will be broadcasted at 10:00pm. Directed by Rohan Ahmed Rubel and Hanif Khan, the drama stars Zahid Hasan, Nabila Islam, Tariq Swapan and Hannan Shelly among others.

On the occasion of Christmas Day, four special films will be broadcasted on Boishakhi TV. A special film titled ‘Jesus’ about Jesus Christ will be aired at 2:30pm. ‘Shotter Mrittu Nei’ featuring Alamgir, Shabana and Salman Shah will be broadcasted at 3:35pm.

At 9:30pm, NTV will broadcast special drama ‘Ananda Dhwani. The drama is written by Apel Mahmud and directed by Jayant Rosario. The drama features Irfan Sajjad, Tasnuva Tisha and Nirmal Sarkar among others. The story of the drama revolves around a couple named Tina and Subrata Gomez.

RTV will air special drama titled ‘Khoma’ written by Mohiuddin Ahmed and directed by Golam Sohrab Dodul. The drama features Nusrat Imrose Tisha, Salauddin Lavlu and Manoj Pramanik in the lead role.

The story of ‘Khoma’ revolves around David, Maria and Rana. Maria and Rana love each other but Maria’s brother David comes in between their love. As the story unfolds, Rana eventually got Maria.

As part of Christmas celebrations, Maasranga TV will rebroadcast a special telefilm starring Ziaul Faruq Apurba and Tinni, titled ‘Ei Maya’ at 8:30pm. The telefilm is directed by renowned director Chayanika Chowdhury.
