Katrina Kaif to star in ‘Merry Christmas’

Katrina Kaif recently took to her Instagram handle to announce her next film, ‘Merry Christmas’. Helmed by Sriram Raghavan, the actress will be paired opposite Vijay Sethupathi, reports India Today.

The actress posted a photo with her co-star and the team. She wrote, ‘’New Beginnings . Back on set with director Sriram Raghavan’s for ‘Merry Christmas!’ I’ve always wanted to work with Sriram Sir, He is a master when it comes to narratives that showcase thrillers and it’s an honor to be directed by him.”

A few days back, the actress was snapped on the sets for the first time after tying the knot with Vicky Kaushal in Rajasthan. The star was on a short break for her wedding with Vicky following a honeymoon. The duo later had a ‘grah pravesh’ as they moved into their new residence in Juhu.

Vicky and Katrina got married at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. Ever since the newlyweds are back to the bay, they have been sharing on social media beautiful moments from their royal wedding.

‘Merry Christmas’ marks Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi’s first film together.

Katrina Kaif was last seen alongside Akshay Kumar in ‘Sooryavanshi’. The actress has two films lined up - Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger 3’ and Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Jee Le Zara’, co-starring Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt.

‘Merry Christmas’ went on floors this week with the first schedule being extensively shot in Mumbai. ‘Merry Christmas’ will be released in theatres on December 23, 2022.
