Jolkiron: Second collaboration of Nirab, Sporshia

Actor Nirab Hossain is collaborating again with Orchita Sporshia for an upcoming science-fiction film titled ‘Jolkiron’ directed by HR Habib.

Makers of the film revealed the film’s title at a press conference held in the capital’s Mogbazar area on Sunday.

‘Jolkiron’ will be produced by KF Bengal and R&D, under the supervision of plasma scientist Mosfeq Rashid.

Besides directing, HR Habib has written the story, dialogue and screenplay of the film.

“We are going to make the film ‘Jolkiron’ to bring a different storyline. Its English name will be ‘Wet Radiance’,” he said.

‘Jolkiron’ falls into the genre of science fiction. Its story revolves around a group of scientists who invent a new alternative for food to change the traditional social system.

Orchita Sporshia, who earlier collaborated with Nirab in actress Rozina’s ‘Fire Dekha’, will be seen as a teenage girl in the upcoming film. She said, “I’m very delighted to work with him again. This film will bring a new idea to the audience. I hope everyone will love our film”.

‘Jolkiron’ also stars Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed, HR Habib, Pronob Das, Angelina Lopez and Grazila Rashid among others. The shooting of the film is expected to start soon.

Sporshia was last seen in the Shakib Khan starrer ‘Nabab LLB’ amid the pandemic in 2020 while Nirab released ‘Chokh’ as his latest film in October last year.

However, Nirab and Sporshia’s first film together- ‘Fire Dekha’ is yet to be released.
