Tisha, Farooki become parents

Renowned filmmaker Mostofa Sarwar Farooki and his wife, actress Nusrat Imrose Tisha have been blessed with their first child, a baby girl.

Tisha gave birth to the baby girl at a hospital in the capital city at 8:27pm on Wednesday.

The couple announced the news in separate Facebook posts where they also revealed their daughter’s name. “She made her journey from God’s garden to Momma-Pappa’s nest safely at 8:27pm today! Alhamdulillah! Both mother and daughter are doing fine,” Tisha captioned the post sharing a photo of her along with the baby.

“Ladies and gentlemen, let’s call this angel Ilham Nusrat Farooki,” added the actress.

Sharing a photo from the hospital, Farooki wrote in a heartwarming note: “We thought we will be in complete control of emotions! But we didn’t know what happened when we saw her, took her in our laps. Tears rolled down. Tears of gratitude and love!”

“Please keep her and the mother in your prayers!” added the filmmaker.

Earlier, on December 28, 2021, the couple announced on social media that they are expecting their first child. Farooki and Tisha are married for 11 years.
