Sporshia wraps up shoot of ‘The Holy Gun’

Actress Orchita Sporshia has recently wrapped up the shooting for her upcoming web series ‘The Holy Gun’ where she will be seen along with actor Shahed Sharif Khan. The action-thriller series is directed by Yasir Arafath Jewel.

The story revolves around a teenage girl and how she falls into a trap in a new city.

Sporshia told The Business Post on Tuesday, “We have already completed the shooting of the series. It was a great experience to work with director Jewel. I loved the storyline of the series because I found it very unique”.

Regarding the story, the actress shared, “I am playing the role of a teenage girl who comes to the big city and falls in love. But after some time, she realises that it was just a trap”.

“The story of the web series focuses on how she managed to get out of this trap. Shahed Sharif Khan will be seen in the role of my lover. I think the web series has a social message. I hope the audience will like it,” added Sporshia.

The web series ‘The Holy Gun’ is expected to release on the OTT platform Cinebaz soon.

Orchita Sporshia was last seen in the Anonno Mamun directed film movie ‘Nabab LLB’ alongside superstar Shakib Khan and Mahiya Mahi. Sporshia was applauded for her character in the films titled ‘Kathbirali’ and ‘Abar Boshonto’ in recent years.

Currently, she has several other projects in her hand including the government grants winning film ‘Khoma Nei’ directed by Zahangir Hossain Mintu.

Sporshia recently hit headlines by teaming up with actor Nirab Hossain for an upcoming science fiction film titled ‘Jolkiron’. The story revolves around a group of scientists who invent a new alternative for food to change the traditional social system. It marks Sporshia and Nirab’s second collaboration after actress Rozina directed film ‘Fire Dekha’.
