Nancy announces pregnancy

Singer Nazmun Munira Nancy is expecting her third child with her husband lyricist Mohsin Mehedi, whom she married in August last year.

Nancy announced the news of her pregnancy by sharing a video of her journey with her husband. Titled ‘A new chapter of Mehenaz life is about to begin,’ she posted the video on her Facebook account and YouTube channel.

In the video, she shared all the good memories with her husband along with the pictures of her gorgeous wedding ceremony. In the last part of the clip, a video of the child’s ultra-sonogram was shown.

In a Facebook post, she has also expressed her anger when some news portals wrote reports about naming her child ‘Mehenaz.’

She wrote, “My husband’s name is Mohsin Mehedi and my name is Nazmun Munira. ‘Mehenaz’ is an acronym for the two of us. So far, most of the people in the media industry know us by the name ‘Mehenaz.’

“I don’t understand how the name ‘Mehenaz’ became the name of my unborn child. Our marriage is only five months old. If everything goes well, according to the medical reports, I will be giving birth in the last week of July. How do I know the gender of my unborn child beforehand? I don’t understand why people are assuming such things on their own,” she added.

She also expressed her joy and shared, “I am very happy. There have been many complications in giving birth through C-section in the past. I never thought I would be a mother again!”

In the last week of August this year, singer Nazmun Munira Nancy started a new chapter in her life by getting married for the third time. Nancy ties the knot with lyricist Mohsin Mehedi through a gorgeous wedding reception.

Nancy had previously married Nazimuzzaman Zayed on March 4, 2013. Earlier, in 2006, she married businessman Abu Saeed Saurabh. They separated on May 24, 2012. She has two girl children named Rodela and Nayla.
