A single-episode TV drama featuring actors Manoj Pramanik and Sabnam Faria in the lead roles, titled ‘Nonajoler Bristi’, will be aired on private television channel RTV tomorrow.
Written by Golam Sarwar Anik, the story revolves around two groups of people who meet in Cox’s Bazar. It follows a series of events during their stay at the beach city.
Talking to The Business Post on Thursday, Sabnam Faria said, “We shot this drama in December last year. Manoj is one of my favourite actors. I feel comfortable acting with him. I have enjoyed working with him on this drama as well. And the director of this drama—Dipu Hazra, is a very nice guy. Overall, it was a good experience.”
The drama also has Arnob Chowdhury, MH Sumon, Nawshin Meghla, Saif Khan, Sahreya Alvika, Nasim Reza Shovon and Swadhin Chowdhury in various roles.
In the story, two friends—Fahad and Noman go on a tour to Cox’s Bazar where they get involved in a scuffle with two other tourists, who are also friends —Brishti and Shreya, over booking the room at the same hotel.
Afterwards, Bristi and Fahad meet on the beach and engage in an argument once again. The story takes a serious turn when Bristi’s cousin Arnob comes back from Australia and proposes to her with an engagement ring.
Director Dipu Hazra said, “I have made this drama with a mix of love, detachment and some funny incidents. I hope the audience will love it”.
RTV will air the drama tomorrow at 8:00pm.
