Tariq, Mehazabien star in Valentine’s Day drama ‘Kajol’

Actress Mehazabien Chowdhury is teaming up with director Mostafa Kamal Raz after two years for a new romantic drama titled ‘Kajol’ on the occasion of the upcoming Valentine’s Day. Tariq Anam Khan is starring alongside Mehazabien in the drama.

Raz has confirmed the news to The Business Post. He said, “It is not like any conventional romantic drama which we usually watch during Valentine’s Day. It is a story of love but in a different angle. We have tried to show the love between a father and his daughter. Working with two brilliant actors, Mehazabien and Tariq Anam Khan was enjoyable. We have already completed the shooting of the drama. I hope the audience will love it.”

The shooting of the drama was completed in Uttara on Saturday.

Raz has also written a song about the father from the daughter’s point of view for the drama. The music for the drama is composed by Naved Parvez.

The drama will also star Mili Bashar and Aupshora in other roles.

‘Kajol’ will be released on the YouTube channel of Cinemawala on the Valentine’s Day on February 14.

Mehazabien has last worked under the direction of Mostafa Kamal Raz in the drama titled ‘Magic of Love’ on December 6 in 2019.
