Milon’s ‘Nodir Jole Shapla Vashe’ cleared for release

Actor Anisur Rahman Milon’s upcoming film ‘Nodir Jole Shapla Vashe’ co-starring with Shirin Shila has been cleared by the Bangladesh Film Censor Board).

The film received an uncut censor certificate from the board on Sunday.

Sharing a photo of the censor certificate on his Facebook profile, Milon wrote, “’Nodir Jole Shapla Vashe’ is a sound film. It’s the kind of film we always expect (sic).”

In the post, the actor also has expressed gratitude to BFCB for issuing an uncut clearance for the film. Actress Shila also took to his social media page to post the censor certificate. 

Directed by Mehedi Hasan, the film ‘Nodir Jole Shapla Vashe’ was mostly shot in the archaeological site of Mahasthangarh in Bogura from Match 12 last year amid the pandemic.

Set in the rural context, Milon will be seen playing the role of a boatman in the film while Shila will be seen as his wife named Taramon Banu.

The film has its story and script by Moshiur Rahman. Along with Milon and Shila, it has Mahmudul Islam Mithu, Rebeka Rouf, Subrata, Asma Jhilik and Maisha, in various roles.

Makers of the film said that they will go for theatrical release once the Covid-19 situation improves.
