Actress Tama Mirza is all set to enthral her fans with her performance as an item girl in an upcoming music video of TM Records, with a teaser being released recently.

Titled ‘Premer Laddu’, the song is sung by Reshmi Mirza. Its lyrics, music and composition are done by Kaushik Hossain Taposh, the managing director of Gaan Bangla TV. The music video is choreographed by Baba Yadav and styled by Farzana Munny. The release date is yet to be announced.

Tama Mirza shared her debut as an item girl with The Business Post.

“I got offers to appear as an item girl before. But I didn’t feel comfortable at that time. I was just waiting for the right opportunity. As I have a great relationship with the Gaan Bangla family, when (Kaushik Hossain) Taposh and (Farzana) Munny asked me, I agreed to it immediately. When it’s Gaan Bangla, I never have second thoughts. Because I think they do their best to take Bangla music to the international stage. ‘Premer Laddu’ is such a fun-filled item song. The audience will enjoy it a lot,” she said.

Regarding her preparation to play an item girl, the actress said, “I have been dancing since my childhood. I have done a lot of stage performances. So, it took me only a few hours to memorise the moves. But still, I prepared for two days straight. It was an amazing experience working with Baba Yadav. He took care of my diet and exercises to maintain my look. Farzana Munny did her best to style me. Despite being very busy, she took care of every little detail of my getup. I am very lucky that I got to work with an amazing and dedicated team for the music video.”

On the career front, Tama Mirza is currently waiting for the release of her web series ‘9 April’, directed by Kaushik Shankar Das. The web series also stars Shohel Rana, Zakia Bari Mamo, and Tropa Mazumdar, and will be released on Binge.
