‘Shoshurbari Zindabad 2’ to hit theatres before Valentines Day

On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, director Debashish Biswas’ much-delayed romantic film ‘Shoshurbari Zindabad 2’ will be released on February 11.

‘Shoshurbari Zindabad 2’ features Dhallywood actors Bappy Chowdhury and Apu Biswas in the lead roles. The film produced is by Bengal Multimedia Ltd.

Syed Ashiq Rahman, Director of Bengal Multimedia Ltd and CEO of RTV, said, “I am missing Sadek Bachchu as this was his last film. ‘Shoshurbari Zindabad 2’ is such a romantic fantasy film that the audience will love to watch. We wanted to release the film last year but couldn’t do it because of the Covid-19 situation. As most people are now started to be vaccinated, we decided to release the film. I hope the audience will follow the health guidelines and come to watch the film in theatres.”

The film is being released 17 years after the release of the original film ‘Shoshurbari Zindabad’ starring Shabnur and Riaz in the lead role. The makers said that ‘Shoshurbari Zindabad 2’ is not a sequel.

Singers Kumar Shanu, Akassh Sen, Imran and Liza have recorded songs while the music of the film is directed by late Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul, Emon Shaha, Shri Pritam and Akassh Sen.

‘Shoshurbari Zindabad 2’ also stars Afzal Sharif, Kabila and Chikon Ali among many others. The film went on the floors nearly four years ago.
