‘Cross Connection’ stars Nisho, Sabila Nur

A drama titled ‘Cross Connection’ starring actors Afran Nisho and Sabila Nur in the lead roles directed by Zakaria Shoukhin will be releasing soon on YouTube channel of CMV.

The story of the drama revolves around a ‘cross-connection’, an event which used to be quite common back in the 90’s. Through accidental cross-connection of phone lines, strangers would cross paths and romance would bloom in unlikely places.

Though less common nowadays, Turjo still ends up finding the love of his life through a cross-connection.

Due to his mother’s untimely death during childbirth, Turjo spends each of his birthdays in a desolate mood. His father tries to cheer him up whenever that time of the year comes around, but never succeeds.

The drama shows Turjo’s father bringing him to a restaurant to celebrate his birthday. As Turjo notices a girl at the restaurant and instantly has a crush on her. His mood improves, which surprises his father.

“Turjo manages to get his hands on the girl’s number, but due to a mistakenly typed digit, he ends up calling a different girl and starts a relationship with her,” Soukhin said, mentioning that the audience would likely find the drama’s ending quite unique.

The drama was produced by SK Sahed Ali and written jointly by him and Iffat Ara Yasmin.
