Lata Mangeshkar on life support

Melody queen and legendary playback singer Lata Mangeshkar’s health condition has deteriorated again and has been put on life support.

She is currently receiving treatment at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, Indian news agency ANI reported on Saturday.

“Lata Mangeshkar has once again been put on ventilator support, due to her worsened condition. She will remain under observation,” Dr Pratit Samdani from Breach Candy Hospital, told ANI.

“She is under aggressive therapy. We are continuously observing her. She continues to be in ICU, she is under serious observation,” Dr Pratit Samdani added.

The 92-year-old singer, was admitted to the hospital earlier last month, after testing positive for Covid-19.

Earlier on January 20, the melody queen was admitted in the ICU of the Mumbai hospital.
