Raisa Fairoz Ipa became champion at the musical reality show “Young Star” while Rownak Jahan Raisa and Puja Shil stood first and second runners-up.

The curtain dropped on the show, organised by private television channel RTV and presented by Danish, on Tuesday night through a lavish grand finale.

The three winners were awarded Tk 3 lakh, 2 lakh and 1 lakh prize money, respectively.

Shooting for the grand finale was completed on January 27 at RTV owned studio Bengal Multimedia at Tejgaon, Dhaka.

Planning Minister MA Mannan was present as the chief guest at the event. Director General of Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defence Brigadier General Md Sazzad Hossain, FBCCI President and Rtv Vice Chairman Jashim Uddin, Partex Agro Limited Managing Director Savera H Mahmood, General Manager (Brand) Md Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan, Rtv Managing Director Humayun Kabir Bablu, and Rtv Syed Ashik Rahman were also present.

Judges of the show music composer Ibrar Tipu, musician Protic Hasan, and Porshi were present, along with other stars of the industry including Khurshid Alam, Showkat Ali Emon, SI Tutul, Shanta Islam, and Azizul Hakim.

The Grand finale of the reality programme was hosted by model and actors Imtu Ratish and Ruhani Salsabil Labonno.

The event began with the theme song “Gala Chhere Gao” performed by the judges. Afterwards, the top six contestants performed duets with popular singers of the country.

Several thousand contestants from across the country, as well as different parts of the world, applied to participate in this musical reality show produced by Sohag Masud.

Of them, 5,000 applications were accepted for song registration as per the rules.

One-hundred-and-fifty contestants were invited for the studio audition round that began at RTV’s own studio Bengal Multimedia in Tejgaon.

Young Star’s TV broadcast started on November 23 from Studio Audition Round. It was aired on RTV every Tuesday and Wednesday at 8:00pm.
