Romantic drama film ‘Shoshurbari Zindabad-2’ is set to be released in theatres today on the occasion of Valentine’s Day.
Popular actor Bappy Chowdhury shares screen with popularly known as Dhallywood queen Apu Biswas in the film directed by Debashish Biswas. The pair will catch the screen in the film after a long pause due to Covid-19 pandemic.
Syed Ashiq Rahman, Director of Bengal Multimedia Ltd and CEO of RTV, said, “I am missing Sadek Bachchu as it was his last film. ‘Shoshurbari Zindabad 2’ is such a romantic fantasy film that the audience will love to watch. We wanted to release the film last year but couldn’t do so because of the Covid-19 situation. As most people are now started to be vaccinated, we decided to release the film. I hope the audience will come to watch the film in theatres maintaining the health guidelines.”
“Shoshurbari Zindabad-2 will be premiering in the US tomorrow and subsequently, the film will be shown in other countries in the upcoming days,” he added.
The film is being released 17 years after the release of the original film ‘Shoshurbari Zindabad’ starring Shabnur and Riaz in the lead role.
The makers claimed that ‘Shoshurbari Zindabad 2’ is not a sequel.
Kumar Sanu, Akash Sen, Imran and Liza have lent their voice in the songs. The music of the film is directed by Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul, Imon Saha, Shree Pritom and Akash Sen.
The film also stars Sadek Bacchu, Afzal Sharif, Kabila and Chikon Ali among others.
