Actress Nusraat Faria and Tollywood actor Yash Dasgupta are pairing up in a new romantic thriller film titled ‘Rockstar’ directed by Angshuman Prattyush. The shooting of the film started on February 17 and go on till March 3.
The director of this film told Indian newspaper Anandabazar, “Rock music plays a special role in the music world. But there is very little work on this particular song genre. Besides, no one talks about rock artistes. That is why I chose this aspect.”
The director further claimed that although Rupom Islam is a very popular rock artiste in the industry, But neither he nor his life is involved with the film in any way. Instead, Pratik Kundu and Amit-Ishan will be doing the music composition.”
Earlier, Faria has worked with Angshuman in several films named ‘Boss’, ‘Boss 2’, ‘Inspector Noty K’, ‘Dhyatteriki’ and ‘Shahenshah’.
The film is being produced by Shapla Media International from Bangladesh and SP International from Kolkata. Besides Bengali, there will also be a Hindi version of this film.
Nusrat Faria will soon start shooting for the film ‘Wedding Bells’ directed by Kolkata director Raj Chander.
