Now, Zayed Khan files case against Nipun

Actor Zayed Khan has filed a contempt of court case against actress Nasrin Akter Nipun for allegedly sitting on the chair of the general secretary of Bangladesh Film Artistes’ Association (BFAA).

Zayed Khan’s lawyer Ahsanul Karim confirmed the matter on Thursday saying, “Despite a ban imposed by the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, Nasrin Akter Nipun, who introduced himself as the general secretary, was carrying out her activities. For the reason, a contempt of court petition has been filed against her.”

A hearing on the application might be held next week, he said.

Earlier on January 30, actress Nasrin Akter Nipun alleged that Bangladesh Film Development Corporation Managing Director Nuzhat Yeasmin, chief election commissioner of the recently held BFAA polls Pirzada Shahidul Harun and Zayed Khan formed a nexus against Kanchan-Nipun panel in the BFAA polls 2022.
