Apu, Joy pair up in sci-fi film

Dhallywood actors Apu Biswas and Joy Chowdhury have paired up for the second time in a film titled ‘Trap: The Untold Story’ directed by Deen Islam.

The shooting of the film has started at the BFDC on Thursday after the mohrat programme there.

The newly elected president of Bangladesh Film Artistes Association Ilias Kanchan and its general secretary Zayed Khan were present at the event with others cast and crew of the film.

Wishing good luck to the film, Ilias Kanchan said, “I have been saying since before the election that I will work for the development of the film industry. I will take part in the film campaigns. Despite our busy schedule, I have come to the mohrat of ‘Trap: the Untold Story’ with Zayed Khan. I wish good luck for the film.”

Apu and Joy paired up before in the film ‘Prem Pritir Bandhan’ directed by Solaiman Ali Lebu. The film is now in shooting.

Joy said, “With the shooting of ‘Prem Pritir Bondhon’ is yet to over, the shooting of another film begins. I’m seeing this as an achievement. I heard the director saw our shooting at FDC. ”

Apu said, “This is a science fiction film. I loved my character in this film. Working with Joy in another film, is also very enjoyable. I hope the audience will love us as a pair. The film will depict the story of how people are getting destroyed due to cyber hacking.”
