Bubly comes up with ‘Local’

Dhallywood actress Bubly has signed up for political thriller film titled ‘Local’, directed by Saif Chandan. Saif has confirmed the news to The Business Post.

This is her second film with Saif after ‘Koyla’ which is awaiting its release.

He said, “This is the story of suburb people and their life. ‘Local’ will tell the stories of local village people who are most often ignored in our society. This is also a story of leadership and village politics. Bubly will play the character of a rebel girl in this film. This film includes action, love thriller and suspense. We will reveal the remaining cast of the film soon and will start the shooting of the series.”

The film is produced by Tiger Media and its screenplay is written by Ferari Forhad.

Bubly debuted in Dhallywood with the film ‘Bossgiri’ in 2006, where Shakib Khan was the co-artiste. Afterwards, she co-stars the Dhallywood superstar in films like ‘Shooter’, ‘Rangbaz’, ‘Super Hero’, ‘Captain Khan’, ‘Password’, and ‘Bir’.

She was last seen in web film ‘Taan’ along with actor Siam Ahmed which released on OTT platform Chorki. She drew attention for her acting in the web film.

Currently, she has several films including ‘Casino’, ‘Talash’ and ‘Revenge’ in the pipeline.
