A weeklong solo folk art exhibition titled ‘Bagher Deshe Baishakh’ by artist Nazir Hossain, popularly known as Tiger Nazir, is scheduled to begin on Friday at the Qrius Gallery in the capital’s Banani area.
The exhibition will portray an exciting array of wild tiger-inspired artworks motivated by indigenous art forms and traditional folk motifs to depict the nation’s love and pride for tigers.
According to Nazir, we must work from our own position and in our own style to create awareness about rescuing the environment from pollution and defending the Sundarbans and its tigers from extinction.
The exhibition will be open to all every day from 10am to 8pm, till March 18.
