‘Mahabijayer Mahanayak’, a three-day cultural programme will end today on the premises of Shilpakala Academy, segun Bagicha in the capital.

Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) has organized this colourful cultural programme to celebrate the occasion of the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The event is being held at the Music and Dance Center auditorium of BSA.

The cultural programme will start followed by a discussion session in the evening.  

In the cultural part, Priyanka Biswas will perform a song titled ‘Dhanmondir Sei Barite’ followed by Nishi Kawsar’s ‘Jatir Pita Bangabandu’, Nahyan Durdana Shuchi’s ‘Jodi Raat Pohale Shona Jeto’, Monir Baule’s ‘Hajar Bochorer Srestho Bangali’, and Manik Dewan’s ‘Pita Sheikh Mujib’. 

Among others, Pallabi Sarkar Malti, Murad Hossain, Tanushree Dev, Kanta, Ima, Subarna, Summita, Md. Ali Hossain and Beauty will perform at the event.

Dance performances titled ‘Bhetor Bahir’ by Mash Mahabub, ‘Joyer Alokbartika’ by Warda Rehab and by dance artists of BSA will be staged. As hosts of the event, Ferdous Ara Bonna, Nasrin Huda Bithi, and Arofin Masood will be conducting the show.

The three-day cultural event ‘Mahabijayer Mahanayak, kicked off Tuesday on the premises of BSA with the dance performance ‘Parichay Dhanmondi 32’ by the artists of Dhrupadi Nrityalaya under Shahrin’s direction.
