Kangana starrer ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ part 3 in talks

After two successful instalments of Kangana Ranaut and R Madhavan, ‘Tanu Weds Manu 3’ reports are rife that the makers are now toying with the idea of the third part.

Aanand L Rai’s directorial was first released in 2011 and it was commercially successful, particularly in Delhi, UP and Punjab. The second instalment Tanu Weds Manu Returns released in 2015 and the film too received a positive response from the audience. The makers of the franchise are now toying with the idea of the third part.

Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, who played Advocate Arun AKA Chintu Kumar Singh in ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns,’ revealed recently in an interview that writer Himanshu Sharma. He was apparently planning to focus the next installment of the film around Kangana and his characters. Reports India Times.

Talking to BollywoodLife.com, Zeeshan said that the film’s writer Himanshu Sharma is considering making his and Kangana’s characters the focus of the third film.

However, he also told the publication that there has been no serious development on this front.

Kangana won a National award for ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ in the Best Actress category in the year 2016.
