The ‘Dubai Expo 2020’ hosted three popular bands from the Indian sub-continent the Dubai Expo Centre Arena on Sunday.

Bangladeshi band Nagar Baul, Indian band Euphoria, and Pakistani band Strings shared the stage for the first time.

The performance took place at 6:30pm (local time).

The three renowned bands from Bangladesh, India and Pakistan attended the concert at the invitation from the government of the United Arab Emirates.

After performing at a concert at the Army Stadium in Dhaka on Saturday, James and other Nagar Baul members flew off to Dubai.

Speaking on James’ behalf, his spokesperson Robin said James is really excited to perform in such a prestigious tri-nation concert.

“James even expects to make the event memorable for the audience of Dubai. If all goes well, Nagar Baul will return home on March 15,”he said.

For enjoying the concert, the audience had to pay $14.03 (Tk 1,205).

James rose to mainstream fame in the 1990s as the front man of Feelings, which is one of the “Big Three of Rock”, responsible for developing and popularising hard rock music in Bangladesh.
