Bangladeshi fashion designers Maria Mrittik and Faisal Mrittik received the ‘Asian Excellence award 2022’.
Seasoned Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit distributed the award at a ceremony in Mumbai of India recently.
Maria has received the award in Women Leadership category, while Faisal was awarded for Best Fashion adviser and designer.
Faisal Mrittik, founder of JK Foreign brand, said, “I’m very happy that I got an international award in the month on independence. As a fashion adviser of Bangladesh, it is a moment of proud for me. We will soon open showrooms of our company abroad, including Dubai and New York.”
Maria Mrittik, president of the Women’s Leadership Corporation (WLC), serves as a goodwill ambassador for 10 brands.
Notable among them are Cinicare Bangladesh, Sketch Jewelery, Purity the Hijab Store, Topface Cosmetic Bangladesh etc.
The awards ceremony was graced by several celebrities like Erica Fernandes, Aamir Ali, Rajiv Adatia, Chahatt Khanna, Swapnil Joshi and Kiku Sharda to name a few. Some among them too won the awards.
