Dhallywood actors Ferdous and Purnima will be hosting this year’s National Film Awards ceremony on March 23.
Both of them are now busy in rehearsing for this big event. The ‘National Film Awards 2020’ ceremony will take place in the Bangabandhu International Conference Center in Dhaka.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to distribute the awards virtually, said Saiful Islam, Deputy Secretary (Film -1) at the Ministry of Information.
The ministry on February 15 announced the winners of the National Film Awards in 27 categories.
Legendary actors Anwara Begum and Raisul Islam Asad are selected for Lifetime Achievement Awards for their outstanding contributions to the Bangladeshi film industry.
