Selim to appear as Bangabandhu in ‘Chetona’

Special drama titled ‘Chetona’, based on the ideals of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, will be aired on Boishakhi Television at 10:00pm tonight.

Akash Ronjon directed the drama with his own screenplay based on the story by Tipu Alam, Deputy Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief of Boishakhi TV.

Actor Shahiduzzaman Selim will play the character of Bangabandhu.

Shahiduzzaman Selim said, “It is very difficult to play the character of such a great leader like Bangabandhu. Besides, I am honored to play this role. I hope the audience will like the drama.”

“If one carries the ideals of Bangabandhu in his heart and engages self for the betterment of the country, then no irregularities and corruption can take place. If one becomes a patriot like Bangabandhu, then our country will be the country he dreamt of. This is what has been highlighted in this drama,” said Tipu Alam regarding the storyline of this drama.

The drama will also star Tonmoy Shohel, Ashraf Kabir, Anamika and Shorif among many others.
