‘Ragi’ gets censor certificate

Director Mizanur Rahman Mizan’s new film ‘Ragi’ has received the censor certificate from Bangladesh Film Censor Board. The director confirmed the news that the film received censor certificate recently.

The film stars Parvez Abir Chowdhury and Moonmoon. The film also casts Anchal, Moumita Mau, Shatabdi Wadud, Maruf Akib, Khaleda Akhter, Shakil Ahmed, Kazi Hayat, Antara Zaman, Bobby, Zia Talukder, RF Romeo, Lion and others.

Under the banner of Astha Kathachitra, Zakira Khatun Jaya has produced the film.

“I have seen a lot of films but everything that is required to be a proper action movie, the film ‘Ragi’ has all of them. We have to cut three scenes from the film as those felt inappropriate,” said Censor Board Secretary Mominul Haque, according to a press release.

Aruna Biswas and Anjana have also said the same.

Director Mizan said, “The board cut three short scenes and we resubmitted those on Friday. Apart from those, the board has praised the film.” The film is expected to release after Eid-ul-Fitr.
