Mithila reveals first look for ‘Mon2Pilot’

Rafiath Rashid Mithila revealed her new look for controversial Indian web series ‘Montu Pilot 2’. Mithila is playing ‘Bahni’ in the series.

The second season of ‘Montu Pilot’ is built on the story of a brothel. Sourav Das is playing the role of Montu pilot in the series.

Mithila’s look was shared on Hoichoi Bangladesh first on Wednesday. The actress shared the post of ‘Hoichoi Bangladesh’ of her first look on her verified Facebook profile and wrote, “New look, New identity/At the door of Nilkuthi…#Mon2Pilot #FirstLook”.

Mithila replaced Solanki Roy, who played the character of ‘Bhromor’ in the first season.

Under Debaloy Bhattacharya’s direction, Chandrayi Ghosh, Kanchan Mallick, Olivia Sarkar and others acted in the series.

The second season is expected to hit Hoichoi by this April or May but the release date of the series is yet to be confirmed.

The series ‘Montu Pilot’ depicts the daily life in red-light zone of Kolkata in fictionalised and humorous ways.

The titular role—Montu Pilot is played by Sourav Das.

In the series, Montu wanted to be a pilot since he was a child.

His mother tried everything to get him out of Neelkuthi’s red-light area, but she failed and died tragically.

The web series had nine episodes in its first season which began streaming on Hoichoi in December 2019.
