The shooting of Aalok Hasan directed romantic film ‘Nakphul’, featuring Dhallywood actress Puja Cherry, has started at Sreemangal of Moulvibazar on Wednesday. Actor Ador Azad is playing opposite to her in the film.
The crew of the film will be shooting for 20 consecutive days.
Regarding the film’s context director Aalok said, “Everyone in the team is supporting me in the pre-production. I’m very hopeful to complete the shooting of this film in time. In this modern era, we became so digitalised that we have lost touch with our roots. As it is my debut film, I wanted to connect with my culture, origin and root through my film. I don’t know how much I could connect, but I intend to represent the lost culture of my country and to go back to my roots.”
“I named this film ‘Nakphul’ because it will be a vital part of the film. Basically, the film is a tragic- romantic one. But it is not like the usual romantic film. The story is different and will be shot in a rural setting,” he added.
Puja said, “Nakphul is a classic symbol of love. Through this film, we will try to portray romance and the pain of love. I can’t disclose any more details about my character but I can say that the story of this film is very beautiful and engaging. It will be very romantic.
Earlier, Ziaul Roshan was signed for the lead role in ‘Nakful’ in early
February. He, however, left the movie afterwards over schedule complexities. Then Ador Azad was signed up for the film.
Ador rose to fame after winning Channel i’s reality show Emami Fair & Handsome – The Ultimate Man 2014.
Recently, Puja has garnered a lot of appreciation for her film ‘Golui’ in which she is playing alongside Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan. The teaser of the film has been released this week and the film will hit theatres this Eid.
The story of the film is written by Ferari Farhad. The film is produced by Bengal Multimedia Ltd.
The film also stars Lutfur Rahman George, Ali Raj and LR Shimanto among many others.
