Patriotic song remains one of the key features in any Eid special episode of ‘Ityadi’, the longest running magazine show in Bangladeshi television.
Hanif Sanket, the anchor of the show and the key person behind its production, supervises every songs aired in the programme that comes with new lyrics and melodies.
In this Eid special episode, five renowned singers – Sabina Yasmin, Robi Chowdhuri, SI Tutul, Bappa Mazumder and Shuvro Dev – will be seen performing a patriotic song ‘Ei Swadhin Swadesh Bolo Heiyo Heiyo, Ei Desher Manush Bolo Heiyo Heiyo’, informed by Fagun Audio Vision, the production house that makes the show.
Written by renowned lyricist Mohammad Rafiquzzaman, the song is directed by Mehedi and composed by Hanif Sanket.
Choreographed by Monirul Islam Mukul, several hundred students from Trauma Institute took part while filming for the song. The song will create a buzz because of extraordinary performances of the artists, dazzling choreography of the students, and applause of the thousands of spectators in the stadium.
“The artists had worked tirelessly to create the song. The song was recorded with spontaneous applause from thousands of audience at the Mirpur Indoor Stadium,” said a spokesperson for Fagun Audio Vision.
“Ityadi has a legacy to bring up something different every time. So it can be hoped that the upcoming patriotic song will delight the audience,” he added.
Planned and emceed by Hanif Sanket, the Eid special episode of ‘Ityadi’ is scheduled to go air on BTV and BTV World on the second day of Eid after 8:00pm News.
