Rehnuma honoured in Kolkata

Young promising actress Rehnuma Mostafa received Indo-Bangla Friendship Award at the ICCR Gallery in Kolkata. Rehnuma confirmed this information through Facebook.

The two-day Inclusive Indo-Bangladesh Cultural Festival was inaugurated by West Bengal Agriculture Minister Sovandeb Chattopadhyay recently where the Indo-Bangla Friendship Award was distributed among meritorious persons of the two Bengals for their contribution in the respective fields.

After receiving the award, Rehnuma said that she is feeling immensely honoured. “My gratitude and love to all those who have given me the award and helped me in so many ways to come here. I will always remember this award from West Bengal. I’m very fortunate and dignified to share the same stage with the veteran persons of both India and Bangladesh”, said Rehnuma.

Rehnuma Mostafa has also recently debuted as the heroine of a local film titled ‘Lockdown Love Story’. Directed by Shah Alam Mandal, the film stars model-actor Emon. Rehnuma Mostafa also acted in two dramas titled ‘Songsar’ and ‘Bharatia’ directed by Chayanika Chowdhury and Mursalin Shuvo respectively.

Rehnuma Mostafa is a news presenter of Bangla Vision, a private television channel in the country.
