SRK’s son Aryan Khan to direct a web show

Aryan Khan, Shah Rukh Khan’s elder son, has finally decided to pursue a career in filmmaking.

He’s working on a web series and a feature film for Red Chillies Entertainment. According to Pinkvilla, the youngster completed a test shot for his web series in a studio in Mumbai on Friday and Saturday. He hasn’t decided on the filming dates yet.

The report added that Jersey actor Prit Kamani and Shahid Kapoor were also spotted on the set.

Although it is unknown if any of them will appear in the film. Shah Rukh Khan has always stated that Aryan does not want to act and instead wants to direct.

Talking about Aryan Khan’s interest in direction, Shah Rukh Khan told DNA, “He’s writing, directing and learning stuff for four years. It’s one of the highest levels of studies at the University of Southern California to become a film-maker.”

Suhana Khan, in addition to Aryan Khan, is pursuing a career in show biz. It is rumoured that, she will make her debut in Zoya Akhtar’s Archie Comics-inspired web series. She was recently seen on set in Mumbai with Khushi Kapoor, and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda.

For now, Shah Rukh Khan is set to act with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in Siddharth Anand’s Pathaan. He also has Atlee’s untitled, which he shares with Nayanthara.
