Samina Chowdhury’s new song ‘Ektu Khani Kosto Diteo’ was released on April 13. This is the first time she sang a song composed by famous Indian singer Nachiketa Chakraborty.
The song was written by National Film Award winning lyricist Zulfiqar Russell and Ridwan Nabi Pancham made the music for the song.
It was uploaded on Juti Music’s YouTube channel.
“I have been waiting for this song for a long time. I’m happy to know that the song is finally released. The song is very special one for Russell. He wanted to make a song with the two of us. The song is very beautiful and has a beautiful melody. Although I’ve sung a duet with Nachiketa earlier, this is the first time I sang a song that he composed. I hope everyone will like the song,” said Samina Chowdhury.
Music video of the song was made under the banner of Juti Productions and also casts Samina in it.
About this song, Nachiketa Chakraborty said, “Samina Chowdhury is a very talented and popular artiste. I composed the song for her for the first time. The song turned out to be an excellent one.”
About lyricist Russell, Nachiketa said, “I’ve sung many songs with Russell’s lyrics. There is nothing new to say about his lyric poetry. Hopefully our new song will be appreciated.”
Meanwhile, lyricist Zulfiqar Russell said, “Soma (Samina Chowdhury) Apa is my favourite among female artistes. I have made many songs with her. But I also dreamed that I would do a song for Samina Apa which will be composed by Nachida (Nachiketa) as both of them are my favorite people. Finally the song is released. I never expected Nochida will make the song with so much of care and Soma apa will sing the song so beautifully.”
