The trailer of the ‘Montu Pilot 2’ has unveiled on Sunday and it features Rafiath Rashid Mithila in a new avatar. The trailer has already garnered positive appreciation from the audience. The series will be released on Hoichoi on April 29.
The trailer starts with the serpentine lanes of a red-light district ‘Neelkunthi’. Mithila was seen dragged by Sourav at the brothel named Neelkunthi. She tried everything to get out of there and failed in the end. The second season of ‘Montu Pilot’ is built based on the story of a brothel. Mitahila is playing the role of Bahni while Sourav Das is playing the role of Montu pilot. In ‘Montu Pilot 2’, Banhi will unfold a new story with her journey.
The story of this season revolves around the thrilling love story between a prostitute and a pimp.
Regarding the character Montu Pilot, Sourav said, “He is called Montu Pilot because he had dreamed of becoming a pilot. His mother tried to take him out of the red-light area and give him a normal life. But she failed and met a terrible end. So, Montu knows he is stuck in rotten hell. He becomes a courier of women.”
Mithila replaced Solanki Roy, who played the character of ‘Bhromor’ in the first season.
Earlier this month, the song ‘Kotota Tomar Chilo’ was released. Ishan Mitra sang the song written by Devalaya Bhattacharya. The music of the song was composed by Ishan and Amit.
Under Debaloy Bhattacharya’s direction, the film also stars Chandrayi Ghosh, Kanchan Mallick, Alivia Sarkar in the series. The web series had nine episodes in its first season which began streaming on Hoichoi in December 2019.
