Shokh, Shamim return with Eid teledramas

After the maternity break, Anika Kabir Sokh has returned to acting through two tele-dramas for this Eid. In these dramas, Sokh has paired up with Shamim Hasan Sarkar. Earlier the duo acted in the drama ‘Mon Chor’ under the direction of Priti Dutta.

This time, Shokh and Shamim will be seen two tele-dramas titled ‘Bagh o Baghini’ directed by Biswajit Dutta and ‘Data Hatem Tai’ by Priti Dutta. Both of the dramas have been scripted by Priti Dutta.

As everyone knows Shokh is now a mother of a baby girl, she acted in both the tele-dramas caring her seven months old child. Shokh was seen with her child and mother who helped her all along to take care of her child during the whole shooting.

“I really enjoyed working with Shamim Hasan Sarkar. Before taking break, my last work was with him, which got a good response from the audience. For this Eid, we have paired up for two tele-dramas directed by Biswajit Da and Priti Didi. The stories of both the dramas are excellent. It was very comfortable working with them. The team, their sincerity and cordiality were really commendable,” said Shokh.

She also thanked her mother for taking care of her child though out the shooting time. Shamim Hasan was also in a break for his illness but returned in acting for this Eid.

“It feels great to work with Shokh after returning to acting. I like the story of the two dramas. Both the directors gave their best to make the projects. I hope the audience will like it,” said Shamim.
