Paying tribute to legendary playback singer Andrew Kishor, Close-Up 1 famed singer Mizan Mahmud Rajib will sing the popular playback songs of Andrew Kishor in an Eid special musical programme on Deepto TV.
The recording of these songs has been completed recently. In the programme, he will be performed duet with singer Ronti Das.
The songs he will be covering are: ‘Ami Ekdin Tomay Na Dekhile’, ‘Beder Meye Josna Amay Kotha Diyecye’, ‘Buke Ache Mon’, ‘Tumi Amar Jibon’, ‘Ki Diya Mon Karila’, ‘Tumi Chader Jochona Nou’, ‘Chader Sathe Ami Debona’ and ‘Shobar Jibone Prem Ashe’.
Regarding rendering songs, Rajib said, “He has been my role model since my childhood. I consider him as my role model from my heart. Though he is no more, I believe he is alive, immortal through his songs. I am delighted by this wonderful arrangement of Deepto TV.”
“His every song is so beautiful, emotional, and wonderful that when I start singing, it feels like that sings again and again. Thanks to my duet partner Ronti for singing these songs wonderfully with me. It is not possible to sing like Andrew Kishor dada, but I tried to cherish his emotion while singing. If the listeners like it, then our programme will be successful,” he added.
Rajib also informed that he will participate in various Eid programmes on BTV, SATV, and Jamuna TV by April 24.
