Sidharth joins Rohit Shetty’s cop universe

Sidharth Malhotra is joining Rohit’s cop universe. Rohit Shetty is taking his cop universe to the digital platform as his cop drama will be a web series that will be premiered on Amazon Prime, reports Pinkvilla.

This will mark Sidharth’s OTT debut. Rohit, who has given blockbuster cop cinemas like Singham, Singham 2 and Sooryavanshi has posted a unique video and made the announcement on April 20.

Rohit announced the news on social media with a unique video in which he presented Sidharth as the new chief of the Indian Police Force. Rohit wrote, “NDIAN POLICE FORCE/Our cop universal goes digital and when we go Digital it has to be BIG. Proud to bring you India’s biggest Action series on Amazon Prime.”

The one-minute and 51-second video showed how Rohit planned the project and prepared for the series. But it was Sidharth’s entry as a cop that drew everyone’s attention.

Sidharth also shared the video and wrote, “When #RohitShetty sir says Action, you know he literally means it! Super stoked to enter the cop universe with the action king himself! Rohit Shetty Picturez Amazon Prime Video #IndianPoliceForceOnPrime now is filming.”

This is the first time Sidharth is donning the uniform onscreen and he is nailing to look.
