Bangladesh Television’s prominent Eid magazine ‘Ananda Mela’ usually presents something unique and keeps some surprises for the viewers. This year’s Eid ‘Ananda Mela’ has been shot in the style of film making. Saju Khadem and Nadia Ahmed will emcee the show. The programme will be aired on the day of Eid after 10:00pm English news on BTV.
The show will feature dance, songs, romance, fighting, suspense, thrill and everything that a film contains, says BTV in a statement.
Tushar Khan, Chitralekha Guha, Murad, Chandni, Nirab, Ruhi, Mahiya Mahi, Sabbir, Saju Khadem and Nadia will perform on five popular songs from the past five decades. The interesting part of this programme is rendering song in female voice by Sandeepan Das, Kamruzzaman Rabbi and Mesbah Bappi.
Director of the programme Jagadish Ash said, “Every time, we arranged the show colourfully. However, this time the audience will be enjoying a unique kind of fanfare. The show will also have a different presentation and visual effects. Many issues have been highlighted in the style film making. Hopefully, this year’s event will be more enjoyable.”
Monirul Hasan and Golam Morshed have jointly produced the ‘Ananda Mela’.
“The plot of the programme will go as Saju Khadem is to make a movie with actress Nadia. The rest of the segments will go centering the filmmaking. Popular stars will be appearing on the stage with five different get-ups for five songs from the last five decades. Even at one point in the show, actor Tushar Khan will smack Saju Khadem for a special reason. To know the reason one has to watch ‘Ananda Mela’. All in all, this year’s ‘Ananda Mela’ is going to hit differently,” said the producer Monirul Hasan.
