A sequel of popular teledrama ‘Harkipte’ will be aired this Eid. Written by Brindabon Das and directed by Salahuddin Lavlu the title of the sequel is ‘Haradhoner Ekti Bagan’.
In the drama, popular actors Chanchal Chowdhury and Shahanaj Khushi will appear as ghosts. This is the first time Brindabon Das and Shahnaz Khushi’s sons Dibbyo Jyoti, and Soummya Jyoti will play the role of Brindabon’s sons in the teledrama.
“This time the drama is with the family of Brindabon Das. Yet Chanchal and Khushi will remind the viewers of old times,” said Salahuddin Lavlu.
The plot goes as Haradhan’s two grandchildren Haran and Poran go desperate to protect their grandfather Haradhan’s property at any cost. So they pay special attention to everything that is on the property of Haradhan. Both of them are so miser that they think that cooking by fire at night or lighting Incense on the picture of the grandfather seems to be a waste to them. They even don’t let anyone to have the fruits form their grandfather’s garden. They think that if they keep wasting this way their grandfather’s wealth won’t last long. So they always keep warning their parents.
Swarnalata, a girl from the next village likes Haran. Though Haran loves Swarnalata, he keeps blaming her because of her habit of spending more. He thinks that if he marries Swarnalata, he will have no money left. Meanwhile, Haradhan’s daughter frightens Swarnalata to protect her father’s property. In this way, the story of ‘Haradhoner Ekti Bagan’ goes on through funny incidents.
The teledrama will be aired on Channel i on Eid day at 8:40 pm.
