‘Mridha Bonam Mridha’ makes OTT release

Tariq Anam Khan, Siam Ahmed, Nova Firoze starrer ‘Mridha Bonam Mridha’ will release on OTT platform Toffee on this Eid.

‘Mridha vs Mridha’ is a courtroom drama that brings family feud stories to a new height. The story of the film revolves around the relationship between two Mridhas-- father and son. The film depicts psychological conflicts between a father and son. Tariq Anam Khan and Siam Ahmed played the roles of the father-son duo. The cast also includes Sanjida Prity and Nova in lead roles. Roni Bhowmik directed the film, while Raihan Khan wrote the dialogues and screenplay for the film. For this film, actor Tariq Anam Khan, Siam Ahmed, and Nova Firoz were nominated for Meril-Prothom Alo Awards.

Director of Toffee Abdul Muqit Ahmed said, “Banglalink wants to bring internet and digital-driven entertainment to the audience through Toffee. We are excited to release our first original film this Eid on Toffee. I believe audiences of all ages will like ‘Mridha Bonam Mridha’ for its relevance to societal issues.”

“Toffee is bringing diversity to its content library with major live sports leagues, renowned films, and dramas and live TV. Toffee being the first Bangladeshi user generated content (UGC) platform, creators get to upload and monetise contents too,” he added.

‘Mridha Bonam Mridha’ was released on December 24 last year.
