Dhalliwood expects a rebound after suffering from pandemic-caused losses for two years this Eid ul-Fitr with four films to be released in 100 theatres across Bangladesh.
Usually 70 to 80 cinema halls remain open throughout the year but for this Eid 120 cinema halls are getting ready to realise the Eid fanfare, said the exhibitors.
Bangladesh Film Exhibitors Association General Secretary Awlad Hossain said four new films will premiere at 100 cinema halls this Eid and the remaining 20 halls will screen films released earlier.
Among the four new films, Siam-Puja Cherry starrer ‘Shaan’, Shakib Khan-Puja Cherry starrer ‘Golui’ and Shakib Khan-Bubly starrer ‘Bidrohi’ have been picked by about 100 cinema halls. The screening schedule for the other film ‘Boddo Bhalobasi’ is yet to be known.
