Bongo to stream 7 original tele-fictions this Eid

Based on Books (BoB) is returning with its second season on Bongo for this Eid. The second season will contain seven tele-fictions, which are made based on seven different stories by different seven authors.

State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak will be seen acting for the first time in this series. Yamin Haque Bobby will also make her OTT debut through BoB season 2.

The books will be transformed into visual telefiction involving mystery, drama, comedy, thriller, friendship, romance, action & paranormal scenarios.

 Chief Content Officer of Bongo Mushfiqur Rahman Manzu said there are many famous and emerging directors in our industry that may not get the expected results due to poor story selection despite having well enough technical knowledge. “If we look at our Bengali literature, there are enough good stories that will be appreciated by the Bongo viewers.”

 “In addition to the old ones, we also worked with some new directors this time. We are hopeful that the viewers will be more entertained than before by watching bKash presents Bongo Bob Season 2,” he added.

On the Eid day, ‘Ek Oloikik Bikaler Golpo’ based on Syed Manzoorul Islam’ book ‘Ondhokar O Alo Dekhar Golpo’, will be released. Directed by Noor Imran Mithu, the telefiction casts Fazlur Rahman Babu, Neville, Tanjika Amin, and others.

‘Praschitto’ directed by Vicky Zahed, based on Obaidul Huq’s ‘Ekti Saree Ebong Kamranga Boma O Onnanno’ will be released on the second day of Eid. Afran Nisho, Nishat Priom, Faruque Ahamed, and others will act in the telefiction.

On the third day of Eid, Imraul Rafat’s ‘Freelancer Nadia’ will be released on Bongo. The story of the telefiction is based on Rahitul Islam’s ‘Kemon Achen Freelancer Nadia’. The episode casts Mehazabien Chowdhury, Sudip Biswas Deep, Shamima Nazneen, and State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak will be seen in a scene of the episode.

On the fourth day of Eid Bongo will release ‘Sada Private’ based on the book ‘Sada Private’ written by Ishtiaq Ahmed. Starring Tariq Anam Khan, Ziaul Haque Palash, Rukaiya Jahan Chamak, Irfan Sajjad the episode is directed by Ashikur Rahman.

‘Half Chance’ based on the book ‘Pen’ by Rasyat Rahman Ziko will be streamed on the fifth day of Eid. Directed by Shihab Shaheen, the episode stars Tousif Mahboob, Tamim Mridha, Tanjin Tisha, Sarika Sabah.

‘Surovi’, based on the book ‘Surovi’ by Imdadul Haque Milon will be streamed on the sixth day of Eid. Directed by Chayanika Chowdhury, ‘Surovi’ stars Yamin Haque Bobby, Subarna Mustafa, Shampa Reza, Dolly Zahur, and others.

On the seventh day of Eid, ‘Chol’ based on the book ‘Chol’ by Antik Mahmud will be streamed. Directed by Mahmudur Rahman Himi, ‘Chol’ casts Yash Rohan, Sabila Noor, Syed Zaman Shaon, and others.

In addition to Bongo’s streaming platform, the audience can watch ‘Bongo Bob Season 2’ on Deepto TV from Eid day to the next 7 days at 1:00 pm, on Asian TV from Eid day 1 to next 7 days every day at 7:00pm, on Channel Nine from Eid day 1 to next 7 days every day at 7:30pm and Bangla TV Eid day 1 to next 7 days every day at 8:30 pm.
