Dramas to watch on Eid

Eid holidays are the season when all the family members sit in front of the TV and enjoy dramas and other programmes together with lots of food and laughter as part of celebrations. As Eid is approaching, the TV channels are gearing up for releasing interesting Eid teledramas featuring popular artistes. Alongside the TV channels, YouTube channels are also set to release Eid special dramas. 

Here is a list of teledramas scheduled to be released during Eid:

Two By Two Love – Massranga Television

The drama features audience-admired acting duo, Afran Nisho and Mehazabien Chowdhury in the lead roles.

Directed by Rubel Hasan and written by Rumman Rashid Khan, the drama will be aired on the second day of Eid at 10:20pm on Massranga Television.

The story of the drama revolves around two love birds, played by Nisho and Mehazabien. In this drama, Mehazabien will be seen portraying different characters like a photographer, singer, or the girl next door.

Digbaji- CMV

This drama features Ziaul Faruq Apurba and Sabila Nur in the lead roles. Written and directed by Jakaria Showkhin, the drama will be released on the Youtube channel of CMV on this Eid.

The story of ‘Digbaji’ is based on a girl named Nitu, who wants to be a globe-trotter, not someone who will become a homemaker. Eid special drama ‘Digbaji’ is made based on such an exceptional female character.

Other Half – NTV

Bidya Sinha Saha Mim and Tahsan pair up in this drama. Directed by Mabrur Rashid Bannah, the drama will be aired on the third day of Eid on NTV at 7:55 pm.

Champa House- Channel i

Mehazabien Chowdhury and Afran Nisho will be appearing as ghost and paranormal investigator respectively in this drama. The drama is directed by Vickey Zahed, a well-known name in the industry when it comes to the thriller genre. The trailer of the drama has already created hype among the audience. The drama will be aired on the second day of Eid on Channel i.

Great Girlfriend- CMV

‘Great Girlfriend’ featuring Jovan and Mehazabien Chowdhury in the lead roles will be released on the YouTube channel of CMV this Eid. The drama is directed by Anonno Emon.

The story of the drama revolves around Akash and Meghla. One day, Akash saw Meghla peeking through her car window on a rainy day. He instantly fell in love with her at first sight. As the story progresses, the romantic story takes interesting turns with hijacking and police. 

Uro Prem - ATN Bangla 

The drama features Apurba and Mehazabien in the lead roles. Directed by Mohidul Mohim, the drama will be aired on ATN Bangla at 6:00pm on Eid day.

Money Machine- RTV

On this Eid, Tahsan Rahman Khan and Tanjin Tisha starrer web film ‘Money Machine’ is coming on television before its release on OTT.

The film will have its world premiere on RTV at 2:10pm on Eid day. Produced by Syed Ashik Rahman, the film has been directed by Mostafa Kamal Raj, while Maruf Rahman wrote the screenplay.

Shesh Dekha – Channel i

Written and Directed by Vickey Zahed, the drama features Afran Nisho and Mehazabien Chowdhury in the lead roles. The drama will be aired on Channel i at 2:30pm on Eid Day. 

Mimmi - CMV 

Popular actors Mehazabien Chowdhury and Yash Rohan will be appearing as son and stepmother in an Eid special drama titled ‘Mimmi’ directed by Shihab Shaheen. The drama will be released on the YouTube channel of CMV this Eid.

Ghun- RTV

Featuring Mehazabien Chowdhury and Khairul Bashar in the lead roles, the drama is directed by Vickey Zahed.

The trailer of the drama has already triggered suspense among the audience. The drama will be aired on RTv on the second day of Eid.
