After the back-to-back success of previous songs, Coke Studio Bangla has released its latest song titled ‘Chiltey Roud’ sang by Shayan Chowdhury Arnob and Boga Taleb on Sunday night in celebration of Buddha Purnima.
To express the same deep emotion in hearts to remain close and in the presence of love, the urban lyrical picturisation of ‘Chiltey Roud’ by Arnob has been entwined with Abbasuddin’s famous Bhawaiya song ‘O Ki Ekbar Ashiya’ by Ripon Kumar Sarkar, better known as Boga Taleb, said Coke Studio on its YouTube channel.
‘Oki Ekbar Ashiya’ was originally written and sung by folk legend Abbasuddin Ahmed and composed by Abdul Karim, while ‘Chiltey Roud’ is written by Saron Datta and composed by Shayan Chowdhury Arnob.
With this composition, Arnob and Boga tried to pay tribute to the real magic of reminiscing, which binds all together in a single thread of togetherness.
‘Chiltey Roud’ has already garnered positive appreciation from the audience and received 7,55,402 views, 67k like, 5.7k comments on Youtube till the filling of this report at 6:00pm Monday.
The song is curated and produced by the mastermind of the debut season of Coke Studio Bangla, Shayan Chowdhury Arnob. He also composed and arranged the music for the song. The mastermind behind the show seems like he is trying to bring talents into the limelight.
With the first song ‘Nasek Nasek’ Arnob brought Animes Roy. And now Boga is another talent that Arnob has brought to the limelight, who captured listeners instantly with his emotional delivery of the song.
The chorus of this song was sung by Jannatul Firdous Akbar and Rubayat Rehman.
The song has beautiful melodious work in flute and shehnai. The flute was played by Sayonton Mangsang and Jalal Ahmed. While Hassan Haider Khan played the shehnai in the song.
Saadul Islam and Imran Ahmed were on electric guitar, Shuvendu Das Shuvo played acoustic guitar, Faizan Rashid Ahmad (Buno) was on bass guitar, Rahin Haider on tenor saxophone, Pantho Kanai on drums, Pradyut Chatterjea on piano, Mithun Chakra and Mubarak Islam on percussions and Md Ashikul Islam was on esraj.
