Kona now busy with playbacks

National Award winning singer Dilshad Nahar Kona is passing busy time with playback songs, television commercial voiceovers and jingles, among other works. But she is not busy in stage show right now.

However, she is busy with playback songs. In the meantime, she has sung the song ‘Jol Jochhona’ for the film of Rukaiya Jahan Chamak. She will be singing Zahid Hossain’s film ‘Subarnabhumi’, and Raihan Rafi’s ‘Damal’. Besides, whenever she gets a chance, she runs away with her parents to Doai house of Sreepur in Gazipur. It is their village home.

Kona said, “When there is no stage shows on my schedule, time I spend busy time with playbacks. Besides, there is a lot of busyness with voiceover and jingle. In the meantime, I have sung for few movies and will sing in a few more movies soon. This time I got a little break, that’s why I came home with my parents. This is where the time is spent in solitude.”

Kona received the National Film Award this year for the song ‘Tui Ki Amar Hobi Re’ of the film ‘Bishwoshundori’. The song is written by Kabir Bokul and composed by Imran. She also won Telecine Award in Kolkata in 2017.
